I recently found out about a british design and fibre festival called p-LUSH which is going to be held on 27th & 28th March 2015 at the Rico Arena in Coventry.

It is going to be one of the largest alpaca events in Europe and will be celebrating all things Alpaca and will be a show piece for the british industry. This means that over 300 alpacas and 50+ fabulous designers and companies will be in the marketplace.

There will also be workshops and a vibrant HUB of making; for exchange and busking ideas.

For any of you knitters out there that would like to take part in creating, you can buy a pair of p-LUSH needles and/or hooks and post, through social media network, a photograph of you knitting/crocheting with these fabulous needles/hooks. You can upload your image and use the hastags #lushplush and #plushbritish.

I have been using these needles myself and they are lovely to work with. They are beech-wood stained in a fabulous shade of red which makes them very smooth, light and therefore easy on the hands when knitting and they have an alloy metal inlay with really cool mother of pearl tops. Here is a picture of some knitting I have been doing using them:

Whats even better is that £2 from the sale of these needles will go to Target Ovarian Cancer.

For more information regarding the event, visit www.p-lush.co.uk where you can also purchase these beautiful needles.

They are also on the following social networks:

I am really looking forward to this attending this event next year!
